Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Ideario. By signing up, you agree to them. We've kept them short and plain.

Your ideas stay yours

You own what you put into Ideario and the documents it writes with you. You give us permission to store and process that content only so we can run the service for you.

Your account

• You need to be at least 16 to use Ideario, and 18 to buy a plan. Under 18, a parent or guardian has to agree to the purchase.
• Keep your sign-in details safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person per account. Share ideas with others using the sharing tools instead.

Fair use

Don't use Ideario to break the law, harm others, or try to break or overload the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

Suggestions, not advice

Ideario's suggestions are a thinking partner's, not professional advice. Check anything important, such as legal, medical, or financial points, with someone qualified before you act on it.

Plans and billing

• Paid plans renew each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Settings.
• If we ever change what a plan includes, what you already bought stays as it was for the period you paid for.
• If a paid plan isn't for you, cancel within 7 days of your first payment for a full refund, right from Settings. This applies once per account.
• After that, payments aren't refunded for the part of a period you didn't use, but cancelling always stops the next charge.
• Top-up credit stays with your account, even if you move to Free, as long as you sign in at least once every 2 years. If an account goes 2 years without a sign-in, its unused credit expires. We email you 30 days before.
• Invite friends: someone who signs up through your invite link, or makes a new account from an idea you shared with them, gets $5 of Ideario Intelligence credit ($10 for a yearly plan) when they first pay for Plus or Pro, on the web or in the app. You get the same amount once 7 days have passed (the refund window); if you're on Free, it waits until you first pay for a plan. Nothing is earned without a payment. A refund in that window cancels your reward and removes your friend's unused credit. Referral credit expires 12 months after it's added. The amounts are the ones in effect when your friend signed up. Up to 20 rewards a year per person, never for your own accounts. Credit has no cash value.

Changes and closing

We'll tell you by email before these terms change in a way that matters. You can close your account at any time and take your ideas with you. We may close Free accounts that haven't been used for 12 months, after emailing you at least 30 days before.

The legal part

Ideario is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA. Ideario is run by iVision Studios, LLC, 6604 Richmond Road #10, Williamsburg, VA 23188.
